38 Finishers, One Community: AWAKEN's Second HYROX PFT

Awaken • September 1, 2026

Forty of our members signed up for the HYROX Physical Fitness Test on August 23, the same six-station test HYROX runs at gyms everywhere: a 1000m run, 50 burpee broad jumps, 100 stationary lunges, a 1000m row, 30 hand-release push-ups, 100 wall balls, all in order, no skipping ahead.

It’s meant to give you an honest read on your fitness and which HYROX division fits you. Thirty-eight of our forty finished it, and we’re proud of every one of them.

Getting Ready for It

Members trained for the PFT in regular class, with coaches adjusting the load as the date got closer. For some, that meant working on pace and pushing through fatigue late in a session. For others, it was just showing up consistently in the weeks before. Behind it, our team spent weeks lining up partners, setting up the six stations to HYROX's standard, and planning timing for 38 athletes moving through the same test. Registration, setup, goodie bags, prizes, all of it had to be worked out before anyone showed up to run. Small details, like making sure transitions between stations stayed clear and timed, took as much planning as the workout itself.

A Day Built on Showing Up for Each Other

Days like this only happen because people show up for each other. Members who finished hours apart were cheering for the same names by the end. Coaches who’d spent months building these athletes up were on the sidelines watching it pay off. Some of our members were chasing a personal best, some were just trying to finish, and both of those things mattered equally that day.

The Podiums

Four members walked away with the top spot in their category: Laurent J. in Elite Men, Vanessa S. in Elite Women, Miguel Nathan P. in Open Men, and Shereen U. in Open Women. Twelve more stood on a podium behind them. The full leaderboard, results for every athlete who finished, is there for anyone who wants the breakdown.

What the Leaderboard Doesn’t Show

Every one of our 38 finishers pushed through six stations back to back, no breaks built in, no easing off when it got hard. Some had their best day. Some just fought to finish. Both took the same effort, and both belong on that leaderboard the same way.

Thank You

None of this happens without the people and brands who show up for our community. Thank you to nutrition partners Century Tuna, Birch Tree Adult Boost, and Blitz Nutrition, food partners Ligo, Gardenia, Kik’s Tamarind, Argentina, and Barrio Fiesta, hydration and fueling partner Vitargo, and AI photo platform partner fynd me.

Every finisher went home with a goodie bag, and our top three in each category also took home a gym pass, a month for first, two weeks for second, one week for third.

What’s Next

Whether you’re on this leaderboard or watching from the sidelines wondering if you’re ready, the next PFT is your chance to find out where you stand. If you’re new to training with us, the easiest way in is a Trial Pass, or just book a class and see how it feels. And if this recap has you thinking about your own race day, that’s exactly what the Awaken Race Series is built for.
